Winter Dawn Lipscombe is a proud member of Wauzhushk Onigum Nation in Treaty 3 territory, where she is an advocate for the inclusion of youth voices within her region. Winter Dawn’s journey of reconnecting to culture inspired her to begin engaging within her territory and across the province about the historical and contemporary challenges that youth experience.
Kieran Davis is a two-spirit transgender Anishinaabe advocate and speaker, working with Indigenous youth and organizations to amplify two-spirit voices across the nation. Kieran’s background as a firefighter and in emergency management with the Ministry of Natural Resources and forestry ties in with his work supporting youth to reconnect to the land and their culture. Kieran lives in Sioux Lookout and is from Lac Seul First Nation, located in Treaty 3 territory.

✨ Open to ages 14+, with intergenerational welcome (14-16 must have parental consent)
✨ Priority registration for 2SLGBTQQIA+ Treaty 3 & SLFNHA community members, but all are welcome to register (you must register for each week individually)
✨ Mental health supports & Elder available weekly
✨Come as you are, when you can – low pressure, safe, inclusive space
✨We welcome and encourage parents of 2SLGBTQQIA+ youth to attend with them, or on their own as this is also a great educational opportunity for parents & guardians
