INTERIM 2-SPIRIT PROGRAMS MANAGER

Jordyn Angeconeb is a 32‑year‑old Anishinaabe drag artist, educator, and advocate belonging to Obishikokaang First Nation, born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. They are currently based out of Sioux Lookout, Ontario.

Jordyn is currently pursuing their Ontario Secondary School Diploma from WAHSA Distance Education and wiill graduate in June. They have been accepted into the Honours B.A in Criminology & Policing program at Wilfrid Laurier University with a certificate in Global Crime and Justice.

They have held management roles in hospitality, retail, the federal government, and served as a Human Resources Generalist and the Director of Youth Services and Community Recreation for Lac Seul First Nation.

As the lead consultant of Ever Sick! Consulting, Jordyn provides grant writing, project management, reporting, policy drafting, workshops, and drag creation labs focused on identity, expression, and safer spaces for Indigenous queer and trans youth in Treaty #3 and beyond.

TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE PROGRAMS MANAGER

Christina Bekintis is an Anishinaabe artist who belongs to Ketegaunseebee First Nation, and is currently based off the shores of Lake Superior in Wawa, Ontario.

Known by her spirit name Fire Wolf and of the Eagle clan, her work is guided by spirit, visions, and dreams. Working primarily with acrylic paint, Christina creates paintings that reflect Indigenous teachings, cultural knowledge, and deep connections to land and spirit. Her art honours the beauty of Indigenous ways of life while giving voice to the land, ancestral guidance, and lived spiritual experience. Rooted in preservation and reclamation, her practice is centered on keeping culture alive and passing teachings forward to future generations. Through her work, Fire Wolf creates space for spirit to speak, offering reflection, connection, and continuity between past, present, and future.
